Experiencing Chinese Culture - Kite Making
Tuesday 13,2016
On December 1st, organized by Chinese Training Department, an activity of Experiencing Chinese Culture was held at IEC 311. This time international students were taught how to make kites.
Teachers at the beginning played a video clip of kite making, handed out some tools, and then gave students detailed instruction.

Fully employing imagination, international students were drawing pictures on the kite they were making. Some drew flags to extend deepest love to their countries, some painted blooming flowers to show positive attitude towards life, and some decorated kites with simple color and Chinese characters, leaving an impression of mystery.

After more than one hour, students finished kite making and started to fly their kites on the open area in front of IEC. May their wishes written on their kites come true.
