Belarus Senior Staff Training initiated by Ministry of Public Security Was Held at DMU

From September 2 to 6, Belarus senior staff training class initiated by Ministry of Public Security was held at Dalian Maritime University. 15 trainees came and attended the class opening ceremony.
On the morning of September 3, President Sun and Vice President Zhao of DMU greeted and welcomed all trainees. President Sun claimed that Belarus is a great country which has been playing an integral role in maintaining regional safety and improving economic development, and hoped more and more international students from Belarus would come and study at DMU. It is the university’s wish that the two countries would strengthen mutual trust and cooperation through this opportunity.

The vice chairman of Personnel Bureau of Belarus Department of Interior, on behalf of the class, extended gratitude to DMU for all the arrangement and preparation, and expressed the willing to further collaborate with China in securing the regional safety. He hoped to get more experience through this study and exchange.

This training class is initiated by Chinese Ministry of Public Security, hosted by the global judicial exchange training base of Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and assisted by DMU. On the afternoon of September 3, the class opening ceremony was held at Yukun, the university’s training ship.
DMU Vice President Zhao and Chief Liu of the training base attended the ceremony and also addressed the audience respectively.

During the training, all trainees visited Ship Yukun, the navigation simulator, land cabin,and some local museums. Also, they viewed the simulated escape exercise, attended the seminar of Chinese legal system, appreciated Chinese tea arts and calligraphy.
DMU advanced technology and equipment of navigation education, as well as Dalian beautiful scenery impressed all trainees who also had a better understanding of modern China including the rapid development and its profound and extensive culture. The training has facilitated the cultural exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
