在忙碌的网课和疫情防控中，2020年暑假已悄然开始，结合学校有关通知、疫情防控的最新进展、以及留学生工作实际情况，留学生教育中心（以下简称中心）现将2020年暑假有关事项通知如下：
The summer vacation of 2020 has come during busy work of online courses and pandemic control. Regarding related information from school, the current situation of pandemic control, and the practice of international students education, here International Students’Education Center (ISEC) issues following notices about summer vacation of 2020:
一、2020年暑假放假时间
Duration of 2020 summer vacation
2020年暑假学生放假时间为：2020年7月27日（周一）-8月30日（周日）。
The duration of summer vacation of 2020 for students is: July 27th(Monday) to 30thAugust (Sunday).
二、2020年秋季学期开学注册报到时间
Registration time in the beginning of autumn semester of 2020
受疫情影响，从保护全体师生健康安全的角度考虑，2020年秋季学期开学注册报道时间和方式，将根据学校有关通知和疫情进展情况另行通知安排，请同学们耐心等待。
As influenced by the pandemic, on the basic of safeguarding health and safety of all students and staff members of school, the registration time and detailed arrangements at the beginning of autumn semester of 2020 will be confirmed and notified later according to related information from school and the progress of pandemic control. Please wait in patient.
在得到留学生教育中心正式返校通知前，所有在境外、校外的留学生一律禁止返校。
All students out of campus should not return to school until receiving formal notice from ISEC.
三、留学生暑期注意事项：
Notes for your attention during summer vacation:
1、请所有同学加强暑期安全防范意识、做好自我防护工作
All students please strengthen safety protection measures
请同学们时刻加强疫情防控意识，注意个人防护，谨记“戴口罩、勤洗手、常通风、保持适当社交距离”的原则。注意饮食卫生和食品安全。如发现与确诊患者或相关人员有密切接触史、或去过中高风险地区、或出现发烧、咳嗽等不适症状，请立即与留学生教育中心老师联系并及时到医院就诊。
Please always be cautious of self protection and always remember to“ware masks, wash hands, ventilating rooms, and keeping social distance”.Pay attention to food hygiene and safety.If you had any connect with confirmed cases, been to medium or high risk areas, or have symptoms of fever, cough etc. please contact ISEC and go to hospital immediately.
请同学们配合并遵守学校和所在地各项防疫措施和相关法律法规，不组织或参与任何违法犯罪活动。在中国境内留学生禁止非法就业。请注意暑期的饮食、交通、人身财产、用火用电和活动安全，注意防范因汛情、溺水、自然灾害、拥挤踩踏等造成意外伤害，如遇险情请立即报警并联系留学生教育中心。
Please follow pandemic control measures and related regulations of local place and the school, and do not organize or participate in any illegal activities. International students in China are not allowed to involve in illegal employment. Please pay attention to food, traffic, personal, property, fire, electricity and activity safety. Protect yourselves from accidents of flood, drowning, natural disaster, crowding and trample etc. Please immediately call police and ISEC in case of any emergency.
请同学们合理安排假期学习和作息，保持良好的学习生活习惯，为新学期的各项课程、考核做准备。
Please arrange your study and living schedule properly, keep good study and living habits, and prepare for new courses and examinations of the new semester.
2、中国境内校外住宿留学生同学：
For international students out of campus but in China
所有校外住宿同学请做好居家防护，减少不必要外出，出行尽量不要搭乘公共交通，切记不聚集。
Please keep staying at home and reduce time of going out. If you have to go out please avoid public transport and keep away from crowds.
请待在本地避免跨区域活动，住大连的同学非特殊原因不离开大连市，确有特殊原因需离连者，须提前报告留学生教育中心。请远离疫情中高风险区域。
Please stay in your current location and do not travel across regions. Students in Dalian please do not leave the city and if you have to leave Dalian for special reasons, please report to ISEC in advance. Please keep away from medium and high risk areas.
3、住校内留学生同学：
For international students on campus
暑假期间学校仍实行封闭式管理，所有住校内学生无特殊原因禁止外出，确有特殊原因必须外出者，须提前报告留学生教育中心并严格履行请假手续，请假获批准后，方可按照批准时间和流程外出。
The school is still under strict closed-off management during summer vacation.All students on campus should not leave school without special reasons. Those have to leave school for special reasons should apply to ISEC in advance and can only leave school after getting approval from ISEC as well as following required time limit and procedures.
请注意宿舍防火、用水、用电安全，禁止在宿舍房间内使用大功率电器、做饭或抽烟。请注意人身和财产安全，遵守公寓门禁制度和开放时间，离开房间时锁好门窗、关闭水电。请勿将房卡转借他人或请他人保管，寝室内切勿留宿他人。
Please pay attention to fire, water and electricity safety, and do not use high power electricity appliances, cook or smoke in your rooms. Please well protect your personal and property safety and abide by opening and closing rules of the dormitory door. Before leaving your room, please shut off the door, window, water, electricity etc. Please do not give your room card to others and do not keep others in your room.
暑假需要到实验室学习科研的同学，要严格遵守实验室管理规则，注意实验室安全。
Those need to do experiment in labs please strictly follow related management and safety regulations of the labs.
4、请所有留学生及时报送信息、保持沟通顺畅
All international students please report required information and keep in contact timely
请同学们按要求完成留学生教育中心组织的每日健康状况报告，请及时关注和查看中心发布的各项通知，请保持微信、电话、邮箱等联络方式通畅，有问题和情况及时与留学生教育中心沟通联络。
Please finish the daily health report and check organized by ISEC timely and clearly. Please always pay attention to notices and information from ISEC and keep your wechat, telephone, email etc. always available and feel free to contact ISEC for any questions and problems.
暑假期间，留学生教育中心每天有工作人员在岗值班，若有任何疑问，请及时告知值班老师。
There will be working staff on duty in office of ISEC everyday during the summer vacation. If you have any questions, please contact teacher on duty.
