On October 11th, the 2015 Dalian International Business Starting and Innovation Summit was held on Dalian World Exposition Square, which was initiated by Dalian municipal government and hosted by Dalian Human Resource and Social Security Bureau, Dalian Finance Bureau, Dalian Technology Bureau, and Dalian Public Security Bureau. Over 40 international students and volunteers of foreign affairs were invited to attend this summit as student delegates.
The summit was hosted by Di Shujun, the vice president of the Party Committee of Dalian Human Resource and Social Security Bureau. Distinguished guests who were invited to the summit included Bai Fanqin, delegate of Dalian Consul Office of Korean Consulate General in Shenyang, Pingchuan Zhixiong, first delegate of Dalian Consul Office of Japanese Consulate General in Shenyang, He Tingting, officer of Northern Cooperation Department of British Embassy in China, Meng Mulan, chief innovation inspector of Intel (Dalian) which belongs to the northeastern branch of China - US Chamber of Commerce, and Hu Bin, managing director of Infiniti Corporation. Guests present expressed their ideas and involved in discussions regarding actions of promoting business starting and innovation, as well as the related problems and solutions.
After the summit, Chinese and international students of Dalian Maritime University were interviewed by the press and visited other exposition zones of the summit.
