On the afternoon of May 10th, ISEC held Chinese traditional culture experience day activities in the Traditional Chinese Culture Classroom and TeaArt Classroom, in order to enrich the extracurricular life of international students and make them feel the connotation andfascinationof traditional Chinese cultures.15international students from 10 countries participated in this activity.

A writing brush to write China. Calligraphy is a unique traditional art in China. With the help ofthe teacher, students began to learn from how to hold brushes to how to pull back brushes. They imitated the teacher vividly and experienced the essence of Chinese calligraphy art in the process of writing.

As an important part of Chinese traditional culture, tea culture has a long history and rich connotations.The teacherintroduced the origin and history of tea as well as the techniques of tea culture. Students listened attentively. After tasting oolong tea, they made it for others to taste. In the process of making tea, they smelled the fragrance, taste the sweet and fresh and experienced the profound culture and rich history of China.

The international students have a further understanding of the connotation andfascinationof Chinese traditional culture through this activity. ISEC will take on the responsibility of educating students by virtue, and shoulder the responsibility of telling Chinese stories, spreading Chinese voice, and explaining Chinese characteristics, so as to continuously cultivate more international talents who know China and love China.
