To rich extra-curricular cultural life of international students during the outbreak, to improve their interest and motivation to learn Chinese, to make a diversified Chinese learning platform, as well as to make students deepen their cognition of Chinese culture, International Students’ Education Center will hold the Singing Chinese Songs Competition for international students. The related information is notified as follows.

一、Activity Time

1. Submission Period: April 8 to April 22, 2022

2. Evaluation Period: April 23 to April 29, 2022

二、Participants

All DMU international students can participate

三、Requirements of works

1. Chinese songs are required, which can be a fragment or the whole song.

2. It can be a solo or a group show (2 or 3 singers).

3. The songs can be but not limited to classic songs, pop songs, etc. The content should be positive, to show the vitality of international students.  

4. Props, musical Instruments, dancers and other forms can be used.

5. The song should be recorded in a video format of MP4 with a resolution of no less than 720P.

6. The winning songs will be displayed on the public Wechat account of International Students’ Education Center and related platforms..

四、Submission

Please send your video to students@dlmu.edu.cn. The subject of the email should be the participant’s Chinese name + passport name + name of the song + nationality. In addition, please briefly introduce the reason why you chose the song or the feelings you want to express in this song.  

五、Awards Setting

There will be 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 1 The Best Popularity Prize, 1 The Best Performance Prize and several Excellent Awards. Winners will receive certificates and prizes accordingly.
