The summer vacation of 2021 will officially start soon. According to related notice from school, and practical situation of international students, here International Students’Education Center (ISEC) issues following notices about summer vacation of 2021:
1、Duration of 2021 summer vacation
The duration of summer vacation of 2021 for students is: July 26th(Monday) to 29thAugust (Sunday). Classes of new semester will start from August 30th(Monday).
2、Registration time for autumn semester of 2021
For autumn semester of 2021, the registration time will be August 30th(Monday) to September 2nd(Thursday). Students on campus will undertake offline registration, and students out of campus will undertake online registration. Related teachers of ISEC will contact those out of campus to finish online registration procedure in advance.
All students out of campus should not return to school without formal approval from ISEC.
3、Notes for your attention during summer vacation:
1.Please continue strengthening pandemic prevention awareness
Please always be cautious of self protection and always remember to“ware masks, wash hands, ventilating rooms, and keeping social distance”.
Please reduce time of going out,avoid public transport and keep away from crowds.Do not go to epidemic riskareasand avoid close contact with people with fever and coughorpeople fromriskareas.
If you had any connect with confirmed cases, been to medium or high risk areas, or have symptoms of fever, cough etc. please contact ISEC and go to hospital immediately.
The school is still under closed-off management during summer vacation.Studentson campuscan go out withstudent cardand passport, andreturnwithin requried time.Students living off campus and in Dalian are not advised to leave Dalian.
Please daily report to ISEC as required about your physical condition, location, travel information etc. timely, correctly and honestly.Please keep your wechat, telephone, email etc. always available and feel free to contact ISEC for any questions and problems.
2、Please pay attention to safety and healthy routine during vacation
Please take care of your personal belongs, dormitory safety, fire safety, water and electricity safety during the holidaytoavoidanykinds of accidents.Protect yourselves from flood, drowning, natural disaster, crowding and trample etc. Please immediately call police and ISEC in case of any emergency.
Please follow pandemic control measures and related regulations of local place and the school, and do not organize or participate in any illegal activities.
Students living on capmus please pay attention to fire, water and electricity safety, and do not use high power electricity appliances, cook or smoke in your rooms. Please well protect your personal and property safety and abide by opening and closing rules of the dormitory door. Before leaving your room, please shut off the door, window, water, electricity etc. Please do not give your room card to others and do not keep others stay overnight in your room. Those need to do experiment in labs please strictly follow related management and safety regulations of the labs.
Please keep healthy daily routine, sufficient sleep, healthy diet, proper exercises andkeep good study and living habits, to prepare for courses or examinations of the new semester
3、Please keep closeattention to ISEC notice regarding arrangements of new semester registration, course schedule, re-exams, course choosing etc.
4、ISEC will assign staff members on duty during the summer vacation, and in case of any problem or difficulty, students on campus can go to the office of ISEC to ask for help from teachers on duty; and students off campus can contact us by wechat or email.
