In order to further promote cultural exchange between Chinese and international students’ , display different national cultures and present more international talents, Dalian Maritime University the 4th International Cultural Festival will be held on June 9th (Sunday), 2019.
2019 is a significant year as celebrating its 110th anniversary, for making better preparation for International Cultural Festival and letting more Chinese and international students to take part in, now ISEC publishes the notice as follows:

4. How to Apply
1 The Host
（1）The host requested a high level of Chinese, clear and accurate pronunciation, correct posture, confident , generous and a certain ability to respond on the spot. It is a great opportunity to show your talent, so please apply actively.
（2）Students who apply for the host need to fill in the application form in related office
2 Booth
（1）Registration Is available for groups of 3 or more students from one country
（2）Each participating country needs to assign a person in charge
（3）If the number of students from one country is less than 3, two countries can apply for a booth jointly ;
（4）Booth can be categorized into food﹑goods﹑hand-made﹑traditional clothing﹑game experience etc., food, souvenirs, clothes,hand-made item and other stuff can be displayed and sold.Booth selling foods must concern to food safety carefully; Goods which are not allowed by Chinese law and school rules can not be displayed nor saled;
（5）Students should prepare necessary stuff by themselves;The cost of purchasing ingredients, souvenirs, clothing or other items is the covered by the student.All proceeds from the sale of food, souvenirs, clothing or other items are owned by the student.
（6）ISEC will provide
● 3x3m tent (or tents - based on participants number)
● 2 tables for each booth
● 4 chairs for each booth
（7）The rest of the decorative items need to be prepared by the students themselves.Each booth can receive a design fee（photo, brochure etc.）for no more than 300 yuan.If two countries share a booth, each country can obtain a design fee for no more than 150 yuan, and students must apply for reimbursement with the printed invoice ,Quota invoice will not be reimbursed.
（8）Students who are willing to set up a booth should fill in the registration form at office specified below.
3 Performance
（1）There will be a performance show which students can apply to take part in the event. Students can show their cultures and talents through singing, dancing, plays, playing musical instruments, taijiquan, magic show etc. Application for the performance can be submitted by individuals, countries, clubs etc. After registering and practicing, performers will need to take part in a rehearsal session.
（2）Students should prepare stuff by themselves; If you need to buy or rent clothing or other performance-related items, please prepare your budget and apply to the International Students’ Education Center within the registration time. After the event, students must apply for reimbursement with the printed invoice ,Quota invoice will not be reimbursed.Purchased clothing and other performance-related items must be returned to the ISEC after the event.
（3）Students who are willing to perform should fill in the application form in related office.
