To DMU International students:
为帮助遍布世界各地的海大留学生与母校零距离接触、与专家面对面交流、与行业前沿齐头并进，留学生教育中心本学期将邀请学校顶尖专家教授，为广大留学生们以线上形式开设“蓝色基因”系列专业讲座以及中国传统文化讲座。经过前期的准备，系列讲座将于近期开始分批次开展，本周将有如下精彩讲座与你见面，请不要错过！
To help our international students around the world have close contact with DMU, have direct communication with experts and professors, and to be updated with latest information and knowledge of the field, International Students’Education Center (ISEC) will invite top experts of DMU to provide“Blue Gene”series of professional lectures and Chinese traditional culture lectures all online to our international students. After previous preparation, the lectures will be gradually conducted from this week. Following are lectures that will be conducted this week and don’t miss out!
一、“蓝色基因”系列讲座之一：
“Blue Gene”professional lecture one:

5.专家简介：张仁平，大连海事大学航海学院教授、国际海事公约研究专家。被国际海事组织（IMO）认定为《海员培训发证值守标准国际公约（STCW公约）》审核专家。主要从事海事通信、海上安全、海上保安、海上环境保护等领域的教学和研究。
Professor Zhang Renping, Professor at Navigation College of Dalian Maritime University. Prof. Zhang has been engaged in maritime education and study of maritime conventions over 30 years. Main research and study areas: International Maritime Organization (IMO) Conventions and the effective implementations, the latest issues relating to maritime safety and security, marine environment protection.

5.专家简介：罗卫华，大连海事大学外国语学院教授，硕士生导师。教育部英语专业教指委委员、国家社科项目同行评审专家，国家出版基金评审专家，中国海事服务中心考试中心专业技术专家。主要研究领域为海事英语、语料库语言学、和全球化与英语教学。主持完成海事英语横向项目多项。以海事英语为切入点，进行了开拓性、引领性研究。
Professor Luo Weihua, Master’s Supervisor at School of Foreign Language, Dalian Maritime University. Member of National Advisory Committee of Undergraduate English Programs, Ministry of Education, China.Peer ReviewExpert ofNationalSocialScienceProjects ofChina, Evaluation Expert of National Publication Foundation of China, Technical Expert of Test Center at National Maritime Service Center of China.Main research and study areas: Maritime English, Corpus Linguistics, Globalization and English teaching.Prof. Luo has presided over a number of maritime English horizontal projects and conducted pioneering research based on Maritime English.

The above lectures are open to all DMU international students without credit. If required, the lectures can be mentioned in student transcript.
