为了给海大留学生们提供充分的展示自我、相互交流的机会，展现海大留学生积极向上的精神风貌，不断推进建立互帮互助、共同进步的留学海大学习氛围，在广大留学生、留学生校友以及有关专家教授的大力支持和热情参与下，留学生教育中心于11月2日、3日成功举办了“学在海大、筑梦深蓝——第一届大连海事大学研究生留学生论坛”。
To provide more opportunities for DMU international students to express themselves and communicate with each other, to showcase their active spirit and study attitude, and to encourage international students to better establish mutual learning and progressing mechanism, with the great support and enthusiastic participation from international students, alumni, related professors and experts, International Students’Education Center (ISEC) successfully held“Study in DMU, Advancing for the Blue Dream --The 1st DMU Postgraduate International Students Forum”in November 2ndand 3rd.
此次论坛的主题围绕留学海大的学习成果、心得体会、经验分享、以及对海大的期待等等，通过组织广大留学生积极投稿、邀请专家评审，最终共有19篇留学生论文入选论坛，包括博士留学生投稿10篇、硕士留学生投稿9篇，作者分别来自巴基斯坦、多哥、尼日利亚、刚果（布）、老挝等12个国家，涵盖法学、计算机应用技术、环境科学与工程、物流工程与管理等8个专业。
The topic of this forum mainly focuses on the academic achievements, study experience and methods, and expectations toward DMU from DMU international postgraduate students. By organizing students to actively participate, inviting experts to evaluate, totally 19 papers were enrolled in the forum including 10 papers from PhD students and 9 from master’s degree students. The authors are from 12 countries including Pakistan, Togo, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, Laos etc. and covers 8 majors including Law, Computer Application Technology, Environment Science and Engineering, Logistics Engineering and Management etc.
11月2日、3日下午，“学在海大、筑梦深蓝——第一届大连海事大学研究生留学生论坛”硕士、博士专场分别线上线下同步举行。遍布世界各地的70余名研究生留学生、毕业留学生校友、学校有关专家教授等参与活动。论文入选的留学生们分别从各自的视角和成长经历，分享了留学海大的成果和经验，疫情期间的感受和成长，对中国和学校的感谢和思念，以及对未来的信心和期待。
In the afternoon of Nov. 2ndand 3rd, the Master’s session and PhD session of the forum were respectively held both online and offline at the same time. More than 70 postgraduate international students, alumni, as well as related experts and professors of DMU attended the event. International students whose paper were enrolled respectively made speeches during the forum to share their study achievements and experience in DMU, feelings and progress during pandemic, gratitude and miss toward DMU, as well as their belief and confidence toward the future.
活动还受到了广大留学生校友的积极支持，共有4名博士毕业留学生校友全程参与并向同学们传授学习经验、为大家加油鼓劲。同时，留学生教育中心还邀请了来自法学院、交通运输工程学院、信息科学技术学院的资深专家导师们对留学生们进行专业点评和悉心指导。充满真情实感的表达和干货满满的分享，将身在世界各个角落的留学生们和学校再一次紧密联系在一起，在疫情的特殊时期给大家以宝贵的精神食粮和信心动力。
The event was greatly supported by DMU international alumni with 4 international PhD graduates participated and shared their study experience during the forum. ISEC also invited experts and professors from Law School, Transportation Engineering College, Information Science and Technology College to give professional comments and guidance to the speakers as well as other international students. The forum was full of passion, valuable experiences and methods, which combined international students around the world closer to DMU again, and gave courage and confidence to all.
经过综合考评，入围硕士、博士专场的19篇论文最终共评选出一等奖5篇、二等奖7篇、三等奖7篇，入选论文还将被收录到《学在海大、筑梦深蓝——第一届大连海事大学研究生留学生论坛》论文集，供更多留学生们相互学习和借鉴。
After comprehensive evaluation, among the 19 enrolled papers in Master’s and PhD session, 5 papers were issued 1stprize, 7 papers 2ndprize and 7 papers 3rdprize. All the enrolled papers will be collected into the bookStudy in DMU, Advancing for the Blue Dream --The 1stDMU Postgraduate International Students Forumfor more international students to read and learn.
本学期，留学生教育中心积极克服疫情为来华留学工作带来的各种不利影响，陆续组织一系列线上教学和学术文化活动，帮助校内外留学生们以良好的身心状态有序开展学习生活。作为首届海大留学生论坛，此次活动受到了留学生们的广泛好评，相信留学生们通过自己的平台能够更好地相互学习、共同促进、紧密联系，期待在下一届海大留学生论坛上会看到同学们进一步的成长和收获。
This semester, facing challenges caused by the pandemic, ISEC has organized series of online academic and cultural activities to help international students on and off campus to continue study life with positive physical and psychological condition. As the 1stforum only for DMU international students, this event was well received by international students, which helped them better learn from each other, bond closer and progress together. We believe the next year forum will witness more achievements and progresses from DMU international students.
