To DMU International students:
疫情阻断了我们回到母校的脚步，但海大仍在不断尝试各种新办法、开发新课程，力争通过现代信息技术和媒介，让遍布世界各地的海大留学生们与母校“零距离”、与学校最顶尖的专家教授“直接交流”、与海事领域最前沿的学术动态“齐头并进”、与中华优秀传统文化“亲密接触”。本学期，留学生教育中心将邀请学校顶尖专家教授，为广大留学生们以线上形式开设“蓝色基因”系列专业讲座，以及中国传统文化讲座，欢迎同学们踊跃报名、积极参与！
Although the pandemic has prevented you from coming to campus, DMU has always trying the best to utilize all kinds of methods, develop new courses in order to make our international students around the world be close to the school, interact with top experts of school, as well as experience the splendid culture of China by means of modern technique and platform. This semester, International Students’Education Center (ISEC) will invite top experts of DMU to provide“Blue Gene”series of professional lectures, and Chinese traditional culture lectures all online to our international students and you are welcome to sign up.
一、“蓝色基因”特色讲座：
“Blue Gene”Professional Lectures
为充分发挥学校在航海、航运、法律、船舶等领域先进教学培训和科研优势，留学生教育中心专门邀请学校最顶尖专家教授打造了“蓝色基因”系列讲座，讲座专家组由具备广阔国际视野、深厚学术实力、丰富科研背景的教授学者构成，将为广大留学生介绍海事、法律、航运等领域的专业知识以及中国和世界在以上领域的发展现状和未来走向。
To fully explore the advantages and resources of DMU in maritime, shipping, law and vessel industry education and research, ISEC has especially invited top experts of DMU to establish“blue gene”series professional lectures. The lecture experts are all with broad international view, strong academic ability, and profound scientific research background, who will introduce to our international students the professional knowledge as well as the updated development and future trend in the field of maritime, law, shipping etc. both in China and abroad.
本学期计划开设的“蓝色基因”系列讲座如下：

1.大连海事大学教学实习船“育鲲”轮的实践学习

二、中国传统文化讲座：
Chinese Traditional Cultural Lectures:
为帮助广大留学生们更好的感知中国，感受中国传统文化魅力，留学生教育中心本学期将继续开展中国传统文化系列讲座，讲座由具备丰富教学经验和深厚文化功底的专业教师开展。具体包括：
To help our international students have a closer view of China and Chinese traditional culture, ISEC will continue to open Chinese culture lectures this semester and teachers with rich teaching experience and profound cultural bases will provide the lectures including:
1.中国传统武术
Chinese Martial Arts
2.中国茶艺
Chinese Tea Ceremony
3.中国书法
Chinese Calligraphy
4.中国国画
Chinese Traditional Drawing
5.中国传统手工制作
Chinese Traditional Handcraft
三、注意事项：
Notes:
1.以上所有讲座将在线上开展，讲座时长约为1.5小时/个。
All the above lectures will be conducted online with duration as around 1.5 hours for each.
2.“蓝色基因”系列讲座为全英文讲座，中国传统文化系列讲座为中英文双语。
The teaching medium of“Blue Gene”professional lectures will be in English and for Chinese traditional cultural lectures will be in Chinese and English.
3.以上讲座为任选类课程，不计学分，海大所有留学生均可报名。
All the above lectures are optional without credit, and all DMU international students are welcome to participate.
4.讲座时间和具体安排将另行通知，请大家及时关注我们的后续信息。
Time and detailed arrangement of the lectures will be notified later and please keep on following us.
