海大留学生受邀参加2023世界交通大会并做学术报告
DMU International Students Were Invited to Participate in the 2023 World Transport Convention and Give Academic Reports
6月14日-17日，由中国科学技术协会、交通运输部、中国工程院、湖北省人民政府主办的2023世界交通运输大会（World Transport Convention，简称WTC）在湖北武汉中国光谷科技会展中心成功举办。本次会议的主题为“创新·低碳· 智慧·共享——更可持续的交通”，大会重点打造了261场平行论坛，44场专项活动，1886篇墙报论文、1700多个学术报告，充分展示了近年来世界各国在可持续交通、绿色交通、智慧交通、数字交通、综合交通、智能建造、交通与能源融合发展等领域的创新科技成果与发展模式。
From June 14 to 17, the 2023 World Transport Convention (WTC), sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Transport, the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the People's Government of Hubei Province, was successfully held in China Optics Valley Science and Technology Exhibition Center in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The theme of this conference is "Innovation, low-carbon, smart, and shared - more sustainable transportation". The conference focused on creating 261 parallel forums, 44 special activities, 1886 wall newspaper papers, and more than 1700 academic reports, fully showcasing the achievements of countries around the world in sustainable transportation, green transportation, smart transportation, digital transportation, comprehensive transportation, and intelligent construction in recent years Innovative technological achievements and development models in the fields of integrated development of transportation and energy.
作为WTC国际学生工作委员会成员单位，我校留学生教育中心积极组织留学生参与大会投稿，经过专家严格评审，共有9名海大来华留学生论文长摘要被本次大会收录并受邀做学术报告，其中尼日利亚籍轮机工程专业博士生LEBILE ILERIOLUWA JOSEPH受邀在WTC2023 国际学生论坛做学术报告，吉布提籍物流工程与管理专业博士生WAISS ALI ADEN、泰国籍物流工程与管理专业博士生NETIRITH MISS NARTHSIRINTH、老挝籍物流工程与管理专业博士生NAOKOUMMALY PHUANGCHANH、巴基斯坦籍轮机工程专业博士生IQBAL RASHID、多哥籍法学专业博士生YOUA NAROU、坦桑尼亚籍轮机工程专业硕士生MAIRUSYA LAWRENT GORDON、巴勒斯坦籍信息与通信工程专业硕士生ALIMOOR HUTHAYFA S. S.、巴基斯坦籍法学专业硕士生KHAN MUNEEB等8名留学生受邀在大会平行论坛做学术报告。
As a member unit of the WTC International Student Affairs Committee, the DMU International Students’ Education Center actively organized international students to participate in the conference for submission. After strict review by experts, a total of 9 international students’ thesis extended abstracts were admitted in the conference and invited to make academic reports. Among them, Marine Engineering doctoral student LEBILE ILERIOLUWA JOSEPH from Nigeria was invited to make academic reports at the WTC2023 International Student Forum, Logistics Engineering and Management doctoral student WAISS ALI ADEN from Djibouti, Logistics Engineering and Management doctoral student NETIRITH MISS NARTHSIRIINTH from Thailand, Logistics Engineering and Management doctoral student NAOKOUMMALY PHUANGCHANH from Laos, Marine Engineering doctoral student IQBAL RASHID from Pakistan, Law major doctoral student YOUA NAROU from Togo, Marine Engineering master’s student MAIRUSYA LAWRENT GORDON from Tanzania, Information and Telecommunications Engineering master’s student ALIMOOR HUTHAYFA S. S. from Palestine, and law major master’s student KHAN MUNEEB from Pakistan were invited to give academic reports at the parallel forums of the conference.
凭借充分的前期准备、扎实的科研论证、生动的阐述分析，我校留学生在报告中良好展示了最新的学术成果、分享了对中国与世界交通运输发展的积极看法，受到与会专家评委的高度评价和其他中外青年学子的积极反馈。在大会的各项活动中，他们与中外师生、企事业单位代表、专家学者围绕国际交通运输领域的前沿问题、科技创新等话题交流分享、共话未来。
With sufficient preparation, solid scientific research argumentation, and vivid analysis, our international students presented the latest academic achievements and shared their positive views on the development of transportation in China and the world. They were highly praised by the attending expert judges and received positive feedback from other young students from both China and abroad. In various activities of the conference, they exchanged and shared ideas with Chinese and foreign teachers and students, representatives of enterprises and institutions, experts and scholars on cutting-edge issues and technological innovation in the field of international transportation, and discussed the future together.
参会期间，我校留学生还参加了由WTC国际学生工作委员会组织的感知中国——“可持续的交通”系列活动，学生们参观了享有“天下江山第一楼”之称的黄鹤楼、为纪念辛亥革命·武昌首义100周年而兴建的辛亥革命博物馆、首义广场、中国桥梁博物馆等，对武汉的历史文化、自然风光、科技与社会发展有了更深入的认识。
During the conference, DMU international students also participated in a series of activities organized by the WTC International Student Affairs Committee to perceive China - "sustainable transportation". The students visited the Yellow Crane Tower, the 1911 Revolution Museum, the Shouyi Square, and the China Bridge Museum and gained a deeper understanding of Wuhan's history, culture, natural scenery, technology, and social development.
世界交通运输大会创办于2017年，是经国务院批准，由中国科学技术协会、交通运输部、中国工程院共同主办，中国公路学会承办，国内外交通运输科技组织共同支持的国际交通运输领域学术会议和成果展示平台，对于提升中国交通运输领域发展能力，带动并引领世界交通运输发展方向，具有重大而深远的意义。 作为WTC执委会成员以及WTC国际学生工作委员会首批成员，我校留学生教育中心近年来积极组织留学生参与大会投稿等各项活动，自2021年以来共有17人次来华留学生论文及长摘要入选WTC论坛并做学术报告。留学生教育中心将以此为契机，为来华留学人才提供更广阔交流学习平台，为大会国际学生工作发挥更积极作用，为讲述中国交通故事、促进世界交通可持续发展输出海大声音。
Founded in 2017, approved by the China State Council, co sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Transport,and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, organized by the China Highway Society, and supported by domestic and foreign transport science and technology organizations, the World Transport Conference is an international academic conference and achievement exhibition platform in the field of transport. It has significant and far-reaching significance. As a member of the WTC Executive Committee and one of the first members of the WTC International Student Affairs Committee, DMU International Students’ Education Center has actively organized international students to participate in various activities such as conference submissions in recent years. Since 2021, a total of 17 international student papers and long abstracts have been selected for the WTC forum and were invited to give academic reports. The International Students’ Education Center will take this opportunity to provide a broader exchange and learning platform for international students studying at DMU, play a more active role in international student work of the conference, and contribute to promote sustainable development of world transportation.
