DMU requires all international students to have sufficient medical insurance throughout the duration of study, which at least covers medical treatment of accidental injury, outpatient, emergency and hospitalization.
You’re allowed to purchase medical insurance (hospitalization and medical treatment for accidental injury should be covered) by yourselves if you’re going to study at DMU less than half a year. You should submit relevant insurance policy upon registration. Documents should be in languages Chinese or English. Failure to offer insurance documents will result in refusal to registration. Or, you may purchase the medical insurance from ISEC upon registration.
For students who study in China for more than 6 months, you are required to purchase the University’s recommended medical insurance upon registration according to the regulations of Ministry of Education of China, even though you may have purchased valid insurance before arrival.
