November 13th to 17th 2015, Dalian Maritime University was invited to attend Tajikistan Global Education Exposition.
On the morning of November 13th, five-day Global Education Exposition was initiated in Sheraton Hotel in the capital, Dushanbe. Мирбобоев Рахматулло, vice minister of Tajikistan Ministry of Education, addressed the exposition and declared it open. This Exposition attracted more than 10 universities from China, Malaysia, etc.
Hundreds of students and parents attended the Exposition. DMU’s exposition booth attracted large crowds of people who were interested in DMU and came to ask for more information. Delegates of DMU comprehensively introduced the university’s overall condition, schools, majors, accommodation, as well as scholarship programs through presentations and sending brochures. Also, delegates patiently answered questions regarding application. Students who came to DMU exposition booth all expressed their strong interest in learning Chinese and Chinese traditions. They wished to get a chance to study at DMU and further learn Chinese culture.
In Dushanbe, DMU delegates discussed issues with Tajikistan National University and Russian-Tajikistan Slavonic University with regard to cooperation of students and teachers’ exchange programs, academic research, and combined cultivation, which laid a foundation for future exchange and cooperative programs between related universities.
