With Spring coming and everything renewed, the Spring semester of 2022has started orderly with advance deployment of school and active preparation of staff members. Though the COVID-19 pandemic is still prevailing around the globe, DMU international students have been able to carry out online and offline registration and learning in the new semester as planned under guidance of staff member of International Students’Education Center (ISEC). Though most of us can not meet face to face until now, the students’and staff members’enthusiasm of study and work never reduce, and our expectations and efforts for the future never stop.
Before the semester officially began, international students have received notice of online and offline registration as well as the academic calender of new semester in advance which helped studentstransfer from vacation mode to study mode. During the 1stweek of semester, international students in China and satisfying pandemic control requirements returned to school in order while international students out of China conducted online registration under guidance of ISEC staff members. The campus, offices, and wechat groups return active and lively again, and everyone is getting ready for the new semester.
During the 1stweek of new semester, international students of different majors received their class time table for the new semester. After a long winter vacation, the online reunions between teachers and students are extremely cordial and warm. Everyone greeted each other,“How was your winter vacation?””Have you gained weight?”
After careful deployment, all living and service facilities of school have been ready. With dormitory rooms being clean and warm, classrooms and offices being well updated, a implicit, steady and vibrant DMU is ready to welcome a new life and a new future with you and me!
As advocated by 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics:Together for a Shared Future! Though we still can not meet face to face because of epidemic, and there are still difficulties ahead, we believe our expectations will finally realize with steps keeping forward and hands holding together. The new semester, let’s continue working together for a beautiful future!
