Notice about Application for Dalian Maritime University Excellent International Student Scholarship, Autumn Semester of 2020
留学生同学们/Dear International Students：
为了鼓励广大留学生积极开展学习生活，对学习成绩优秀、表现良好或作出突出贡献的留学生给予肯定和鼓励，学校设立了大连海事大学优秀外国留学生奖学金，2020年秋季学期具体奖学金项目及申报要求如下：
In order to encourage international students to enhance study activity, give recognition to students with excellent academic results, good behavior or special achievements, the school established Dalian Maritime University Excellent International Student Scholarship. The detailed awards and requirements for Autumn semester of 2020 are as follows:
一、奖学金具体奖项/Detailed Awards
（一）大连海事大学优秀本科生奖学金/DMU Excellent Undergraduates International Students Award:
评选对象Eligible Applicants：
2018、2019级自费本科留学生
Self-funded undergraduate students of grade 2018 and 2019
奖励内容Amount of Scholarship：
一等奖：获奖者每人奖励8,000元人民币奖学金，用于减免2021-2022学年部分学费或住宿费，由获奖者自行选择。
1st Prize: The winners will get scholarship worth of 8,000 RMB per person which covers part of tuition fee or accommodation fee of 2021-2022 academic year. The winners decide which content to choose.
二等奖：获奖者每人奖励6,000元人民币奖学金，用于减免2021-2022学年部分学费或住宿费，由获奖者自行选择。
2nd Prize: The winners will get scholarship worth of 6,000 RMB per person which covers part of tuition fee or accommodation fee of 2021-2022 academic year. The winners decide which content to choose.
三等奖：获奖者每人奖励4,000元人民币奖学金，用于减免2021-2022学年部分学费或住宿费，由获奖者自行选择。
3rd Prize: The winners will get scholarship worth of 4,000 RMB per person which covers part of tuition fee or accommodation fee of 2021-2022 academic year. The winners decide which content to choose.
（二）大连海事大学学习进步奖学金/DMU Good Progress Award:
评选对象Eligible Applicants：
2018、2019级自费本科生
Self-funded undergraduate students of grade 2018 and 2019
奖励内容Amount of Scholarship：
获奖者每人奖励1,000元人民币奖学金，用于减免2021-2022学年部分学费或住宿费，由获奖者自行选择。
The winners will get scholarship worth of 1,000 RMB per person which covers part of tuition fee or accommodation fee of 2021-2022 academic year. The winners decide which content to choose.
（三）大连海事大学优秀硕士生奖学金/ DMU Excellent Master’s Degree International Students Award:
评选对象Eligible Applicants:
2019级自费硕士生
Self-funded master's degree students of grade 2019
奖励内容Amount of Scholarship：
一等奖：获奖者每人奖励10,000元人民币奖学金，用于减免2021-2022学年部分学费或住宿费，由获奖者自行选择。
1st Prize: The winners will get scholarship worth of 10,000 RMB per person which covers part of tuition fee or accommodation fee of 2021-2022 academic year. The winners decide which content to choose.
二等奖：获奖者每人奖励8,000元人民币奖学金，用于减免2021-2022学年部分学费或住宿费，由获奖者自行选择。

（四）大连海事大学优秀汉培生奖学金/DMU Excellent Chinese Language Students Award
评选对象Eligible Applicants:
全体自费汉培生
All self-funded Chinese language students
奖励内容Amount of Scholarship：
一等奖：获奖者可以选择减免下一学习阶段（1学期及以上）部分学费2,000元人民币或者自费预科、学历教育阶段第一学年住宿费10,000元人民币（仅可用于谊华一公寓）。
1st Prize: The winners can choose to cover 2,000 RMB for part of next semester/academic year’s tuition fee or 10,000 RMB for accommodation fee (only available for Yihua Dormitory 1) during 1st academic year of self-funded preparatory program or degree program study.
二等奖：获奖者可以选择减免下一学习阶段（1学期及以上）部分学费1,000元人民币或者自费预科、学历教育阶段第一学年住宿费5,000元人民币（仅可用于谊华一公寓）。
2nd Prize: The winners can choose to cover 1,000 RMB for part of next semester/academic year’s tuition fee or 5,000 RMB for accommodation fee (only available for Yihua Dormitory 1) during 1st academic year of self-funded preparatory program or degree program study.
注：下一阶段最短学习时间为1学期者可享受此项费用减免

（五）大连海事大学汉培生全勤奖/DMU Chinese Language Students Full Attendance Award
评选对象Eligible Applicants：
全体自费汉培生
All self-funded Chinese language students
奖励内容Amount of Scholarship：
获奖者每人奖励1,000元人民币奖学金，用于减免下一学习阶段（1学期及以上）部分学费。
The winners will get scholarship worth of 1,000 RMB per person which covers part of next semester/year’s tuition fee.
注：下一阶段最短学习时间为1学期者可享受此项学费减免
Note: The next study period should last for one semester at least
（六）大连海事大学突出表现奖/DMU Excellent Performance Award:
评选对象Eligible Applicants:
大连海事大学所有在籍留学生
All international students of DMU
奖励内容Amount of Scholarship：
获奖者颁发证书及奖品。
The winners will be issued certificates and awards.
二、奖学金评选条件/ Eligibility：
（一）遵守中国的法律法规和学校的各项规章制度。
Complying with Chinese laws and regulations and DMU disciplines.
（二）尊敬师长，团结同学，品行端正。
Respecting teachers and uniting fellow students with good conduct.
（三）尊重各国人民的风俗习惯，维护各国人民之间的友谊。
Respecting the customs of different peoples, maintaining friendship among peoples.
（四）学习成绩良好，课堂表现及出勤情况良好。
Great achievements of academic records, good attendance and good daily behavior.
（五）在评选所依据的学年内，参加过学校组织的校级或校级以上级别的活动或比赛并有突出表现者给予优先考虑。
In the reference period, students who actively participated in activities or contests on/off campus and achieved good results or made great contributions to school would be priorities among all applicants.
三、有下列情况之一者不能参加本奖学金的评定/Those who with one of following situations can not apply for this ward：
（一）因没有获得毕业资格、不能按期毕业、延长学习期限者（学位生）。
Degree program students that can not graduate within required study duration.
（二）有欠缴费用行为者。
Those who didn’t finish required payment.
（三）因违反外国人出入境管理有关规定而受到行政处罚者、 因违反校纪校规受到通报批评以上（含通报批评）处分者。
Those who violated related rules or regulations.
（四）所参考学年所学科目期中/期末考试有一门以上（含一门）不及格者。
Those who failed in more than 1 course (including 1) in mid-term and final examinations during reference period .
（五）处于休学期间或保留学籍者。
Those who are during study suspension period.
四、评选参考的学期或学年/Reference period:
（一）大连海事大学优秀硕士、本科生奖学金：2019-2020学年
DMU Excellent Master’s Degree and Undergraduates International Students Awards: 2019-2020 Academic Year
（二）大连海事大学学习进步奖：2019-2020学年
DMU Good Progress Award: 2019-2020 Academic Year
（三）大连海事大学优秀汉培生及汉培生全勤奖：2020年秋季学期
DMU Excellent Chinese Language Program Students and Full Attendance Awards: Autumn Semester of year 2020
（四）大连海事大学突出表现奖：2020年
DMU Excellent Performance Award: year 2020
五、申请所需材料/Application Materials：
（一）《大连海事大学优秀外国留学生奖学金申请表》（附件）
Application Form for DMU Scholarships for Excellent International Students
（二）相关证书和证明材料扫描件
Scanned copy of related documents, certificates or supporting materials
六、评选程序/Application Procedures：
（一）请申请者填写《大连海事大学优秀外国留学生奖学金申请表》并签字，请于北京时间11月18日（周三）17:00前将填写完毕并签字的申请表及相关材料提交至留学生教育中心412办公室，在校的同学可以直接提交纸质材料，不在校同学可以发电子版材料到至邮箱：1749036529@qq.com。报名截止日期为北京时间11月18日（周三）17:00。
Applicants please fill in the attached application form with signature, and submit the form with related documents to ISEC 412 office before 17:00 November 18th (Wednesday) Beijing time. Those not on campus please send the scanned copy or clear picture of the materials to 1749036529@qq.com. The deadline of application is 17:00 November 18th (Wednesday) Beijing time.
（二）由留学生教育中心奖学金评选委员会负责审核候选人材料并确定入围名单。
The scholarship review committee will evaluate application materials and determine the finalist.
（三）由留学生教育中心奖学金评选委员会确定最终获奖者名单并公示；公示无异议者，将最终获得该项奖学金。
The scholarship review committee will publicly announce the name list of the winners and give awards to the winners if there is no objection.
七、其他注意事项/Other Remarks:
（一）以上各项奖学金不能同时兼得，对于住宿费的减免仅可用于谊华一公寓。
Scholarship acquisition cannot be overlapped. The reduction for accommodation fee can only be available for Yihua Dormitory 1.
（二）大连海事大学优秀外国留学生奖学金每年春季学期、秋季学期分别评定一次。
The DMU Excellent International Students Scholarships are usually issued twice each year in spring and autumn semester respectively.
（三）本活动最终解释权在留学生教育中心。
International Students’ Education Center retains the final right of interpretation of the detailed implementation regulations.
