The 2026 World Transport Convention (WTC) was held in Tianjin from June 2nd to 3rd, 2026 with the theme of "AI+Transportation". As one of the special report sessions of the conference, the WTC2026 International Students Seminar was held simultaneously, with international student representatives from various universities attending and exchanging ideas. HOSEN IQBAL, a Bangladeshi master's student majoring in Information and Communication Engineering from Dalian Maritime University, was enrolled and invited to give a presentation with the topic: Feature-Level SAR-Optical Image Fusion for Urban Transportation Infrastructure Detection Using High-Resolution GAOFen-3 Satellite Data.

At the 2026WTC conference, papers of 13 international students from Dalian Maritime University were included in the conference, showcasing the proactive academic atmosphere and fruitful training achievements of "Study at DMU", further promoting the export and narrative system construction of China's higher maritime education.
