Application Qualification

The applicant must be a foreign citizen in good health, aged between 18 and 35, possessing a valid passport, and has graduated from an institution equal to Chinese senior high school.

For the applicants whose parents are both or one of whom is a Chinese citizen and settled down abroad, and the applicants were born with a foreign nationality, who does not have Chinese nationality, as well as the residents of the mainland of China (the mainland), Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan who have immigrated and obtained foreign nationality, their applications to enter DMU at the undergraduate level as international students, in addition to suiting the other admission requirements of DMU, should also provide a valid foreign passport or proof of foreign nationality for 4 years (including) or more, and have a record of actual residence abroad for 2 years or more within the past 4 years (a year of actual residence abroad of 9 months or more can be counted as one year, based on the entry and exit seal on the passport).

Application Materials
1. Application Form for International Students to Study at Dalian Maritime University (the form shall be filled in the form and submitted online )
2. Photocopy of the personal information page and blank page of passport (If the applicant has been to China before, the visa page with entry stamp and exit stamp should be provided continuously)
3. Notarization issued by Chinese Embassy of high school diploma
4. Transcript during the whole high school
5. Language Proficiency Certificate:HSK Certificate (4th level or above)
Applicants without an HSK certificate (4th level or above) should attend the Mandarin level test organized by DMU.

Those who get a result equivalent to HSK 4th level or above and signed the “Agreement Probation” shall be considered.

6. Valid Physical Exam Record issued within 6 months( find attachment with the sample): if the one submitted online is not the same as the sample, it may be required to re-check in the designated agency after entry and the related fees should be covered by yourself)

7. Valid Non-Criminal Record Certificate issued within 6 months

Note:
1. The application deadline for applying for a degree program is each June 30th.

2. Documents issued other than in Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese.

3. Applicants who are still studying are also required to provide a study certificate and transcript issued by their institutions.

Application Procedures

1. Submit the online application at  https://dlmu.17gz.org

2. The application online shall be reviewed by the admission staff

3. The formal notification of your admission will be announced via online application system if your application is accepted. You will be required to pay application fees and tuition fees to confirm your admissions

4. Once the related fees received, your admission materials, including the Admission Letter and JW202Form shall be issued
