Dalian is a relatively safe city and DMU is a secure and well-guarded campus. Nevertheless, students are encouraged to take some safety precautions. It is not advisable for students to carry their passport and large sums of money with them at all times.
In case of emergency, contact the police immediately and report the incident to the Student Affairs Office. The staffs there can provide you with help.
