Dalian Maritime University has been rated by Liaoning Department of Education as Liaoning Model University of International Students Management.
In order to meet the requirement of Liaoning Provincial Government -- to establish the featured brand of “Study in Liaoning”, Liaoning Department of Education initiated work of “model universities of international students management”, aiming to improve quality of cultivating international students, manifest universities’ features while pioneering the management work.
According to the requirement of Liaoning Department of Education and based on the university’s development plan, features and potential, DMU summarized achievement of international students’ management from various aspects including admission, management, and cultivation. The summary highlighted DMU’s advantages of featured majors, academic strength, and international students’ cultivation, and concluded future development as well as feasible actions.
After project application and expert review, DMU along with other 12 universities have been rated as Liaoning Model University of International Students Management. The construction work will last for 3 years. During the period Liaoning Department of Education will provide support to these universities and conduct final review.
