DMU International Students of Vietnam - NGUYEN VAN TRUONG Was Invited to “Study in China” Doctoral Forum

On October 19, the opening ceremony of Study in China of the 52^nd Higher Education Expo was held in Chengdu. NGUYEN VAN TRUONG was invited to attend the ceremony and related doctoral forum.

Study in China aims to share achievements of China’s higher education for international students over the 40 years of Reform and Opening up, examine its quality, discuss solutions to some shared problems and jointly make a plan for the further development. With strong academic capability and positive research attitude, DMU doctoral student of Vietnam - NGUYEN VAN TRUONG finished a thesis titled Study in China, Love at DMU, My Dreams Set off from Here which will be collected in the doctoral thesis collection of the forum. In his thesis, NGUYEN VAN TRUONG shared his study experiences and research projects in China. Through the thesis, readers could get some understanding of achievements of China’s higher education for international students as well as how NGUYEN VAN TRUONG cherish the opportunity of studying in China.

On the opening ceremony, Director Du Yubo of China Association of Higher Education addressed all and Director Liu Jinghui declared the activity open. Other representatives of the field from Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong also attended it.

On October 20, “Study in China” Doctoral Forum for International Students was officially held, which was initiated by China Association of Higher Education and assisted by Sichuan Department of Education. Director Liu Jinghui of China Association of Higher Education delivered a speech and awarded certificates to international students.

International doctoral students from 22 Chinese universities respectively gave a report during the forum. NGUYEN VAN TRUONG exchanged with Director Liu Jinghui and international students at present about academics and study experiences.

A series of activities of Study In China provide to international students an ideal communication platform. NGUYEN VAN TRUONG expressed he acquired a lot from the forum by communicating with other international students and hoped they would jointly make progress.
