IEC International Students Worked as Volunteers for ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest(ACM-ICPC)

From October 15 to 16, the 41st ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (Dalian, Asia) was held at the gym of Dalian Maritime University. Over 700 participants from 133 universities including Hong Kong University, Peking University, Tsinghua University, etc. attended the contest. More than 10 IEC international students who are from Russia, Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Palestine participated into the volunteer work to offer service for the contest, which was highly praised by the organizer and contestants.



ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest is hosted by Association for Computing Machinery, US, with aim of presenting college students’ creativity and teamwork spirit as well as competence of analysis, problem-solving, and programming under pressure. Through development of nearly 40 years, ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest has become the most influential contest in this field.
