In order to help international students better carry out their study life in China, enhance their understanding of the Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China and relevant Chinese laws and regulations, and avoid violating the law and unnecessary trouble and losses, the International Students’ Education Center invited officers Yuan Lizhi and Luan Jian from the Lingshui Police Station of the High tech District Branch of Dalian Public Security Bureau to come to the school, to conduct legal knowledge and security fraud prevention lecture for all international students on campus, with over 70 students participating offline and more than 10 students simultaneously participating online.

During the meeting, the police officers provide detailed introductions of relevant regulations on passport and visa processing, residence permit change registration, accommodation registration, illegal employment, fraud prevention, staying away from drugs, as well as the serious consequences of violating the laws. They gave vivid lessons to students with rich and authentic cases, and further reminded them of legal knowledge and life precautions that are prone to errors. The police officers also patiently answered questions raised by international students and had extensive exchanges on key issues of concern. They reminded everyone to abide by Chinese laws and regulations as well as the school's rules and regulations. If there are any questions, students should contact the school teachers in a timely manner or seek police assistance, and not do anything unrelated to their studies.

The activity helped international students who have just returned to school have a deeper understanding of legal knowledge and safety knowledge, laying a solid foundation for international students to understand and abide by Chinese laws, and injecting confidence into their study life in DMU.
