On June 5th, the 18th China Merchants C Blue Training Program (Inception Session) successfully concluded at the China Merchants Port Building in Shenzhen. Six outstanding representatives of international students recommended by Dalian Maritime University successfully completed their study tours and obtained completion certificates.
This year's C Blue Training Program is sponsored by the China Merchants Charity Foundation, hosted by China Merchants Port, and organized by the Hong Kong New Territories Youth Federation. The program, with the theme of "Exploring the Living Heritage along Port & Shipping Evolution", attracted 36 students from 18 countries to participate. During the more than ten day trip, the students visited four cities with different characteristics, including Nanjing, Hangzhou, Quanzhou, and Shenzhen. Following the development of China's maritime industry, they completed a blue exploration journey intertwined with tradition and modernity.
Dalian Mairtime University (DMU) has been deeply involved in the C Blue Training Program since its inception. So far, 51 international students from DMU have been selected to participate in the program, helping students to personally experience the development of China's port and shipping industry, supporting academic development, and promoting cross-cultural exchanges. In the future, DMU will continue to deepen cooperation with the program and cultivate more young talents with an international vision for the shipping industry of "the Belt and Road".
