DMU International Students Won Prizes in the 20th Dalian Chinese Speech Contest for International Students

The 20th Dalian Chinese Speech Contest for International Students was held on the afternoon of December 12, which was hosted by Dalian Association of International Students Affairs and assisted by Dalian University of Foreign Languages. The Contest attracted 34 international students from 13 local universities to participate.

Four students of DMU attended the final round - 李柱贤与全流进(North Korea)，李雅茶(Laos) and芳草(Vietnam). In their respective speech, they expressed their love for both Chinese culture and the city of Dalian based on personal experiences. Through the furious competition, DMU students won good prizes: 芳草acquired the second prize in Group C with her speech titled Me and China; 全流进、李柱贤 and 李雅茶 won Excellence Award. Also, some Thai students of DMU performed a traditional dance called Blooming, which marked the end of the contest.

The excellent achievement we have made in the contest indicates that everyone’s hard work has been paid off. We also believe that all international students would keep up the good work and make persistent efforts in future study.
