From June 13th to June 28th, the 12th China Merchants C Blue Training Program (hereinafter referred to as "C Blue") was launched in Shenzhen. DMU has 7 representatives of international students from 7 countries, including Pakistan, Laos, Russia, Mozambique, Palestine, Myanmar, and Zimbabwe, to participate in this year's C Blue Training Program. During the 16 day study and training, 34 young talents from 21 countries went to Shenzhen, Quanzhou, Zhangzhou and other places to perceive China and understand China Merchants through cultural experiences, academic exchanges, on-site research, volunteer services, and other means.
This activity left a lot of memories and deep feelings in the minds of the students. They had a deeper understanding of the century long history of China Merchants, China's social history and culture, and the significance of the "the Belt and Road" initiative. At the same time as they gained knowledge, they also gained sincere emotions and friendship, and together they formed a sense of mission and responsibility to work together to promote the sustainable development of world transportation. International students of DMU have expressed their gains and emotions through words. Let's share the C Blue insights of Pakistani PhD student ASHRAF MUDDASSAR and Burmese PhD student AUNG HTIN LIN together.
The C Blue Training Program is an important component of China Merchants Group's C-series public welfare brands. Adhering to the concept of "sharing knowledge and value", it aims to build a talent exchange and cultural integration platform for young people in the overseas transportation industry. Since its launch in 2016, it has been held for twelve consecutive sessions, attracting 365 students from 59 countries across six continents to participate. DMU has been participating in this project since 2019 and has selected 32 outstanding international student representatives to participate in the event.
