2017 ANNUAL REVIEW OF CHINESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP

In accordance with the relevant regulations on the management of Chinese Government Scholarship, CSC students who continue to enjoy Chinese Government Scholarship Programs in academic year of 2017-2018 are requested to go through Annual Review. It will decide whether they are qualified to continue enjoying the scholarship. Those who fail to attend or go through Annual Review will be disqualified.
The scholarship students who continue to enjoy Chinese Government Scholarship Programs in academic year of 2017-2018 or who have finished their planned study programs and already extended their scholarship should go through Annual Review.
The details of Annual Review include:
1.performances (including the examination or checkup results of all courses in the first term and the general performances in the second term of this academic year),
2. attitude towards study, attendance,
3. conducts, rewards and punishments received.
On basis of the details above, IEC will assess whether the students are qualified to continue enjoying or to renew the scholarship. And then put forward their results and proposals to Chinese Scholarship Council. According to the assessments and suggestions, CSC will make the final decision whether to continuously provide, suspend or terminate the scholarship.
Procedures of Annual Review:
1. Scholarship students should apply for and fill out correctly the Form for Annual Review of Chinese Government Scholarship Status (front page) from Student Affairs Office (Office 410) during working time between April 10th to 14th.
2. Scholarship students should submit the Form completed to Office 410 before 17:00 on April 14th. Missing the deadline will be seen as giving up the right of assessment.
