Prof. George Gabedava, Deputy Rector of Batumi Navigation Teaching University, Georgia, visited the International Students’ Education Center

On the afternoon of May 29th, Prof. George Gabedava, deputy rector of Batumi Navigation Teaching University of Georgia, visited the International Students’ Education Center and discussed bout student education and exchange issues with the center's director, Prof. Liu Shaoman.



During the meeting, Prof. Liu Shaoman briefly introduced the overall situation of the International Students’ Education Center, as well as the unique advantages of the school in terms of international student education experience, professional majors, and training programs. Prof. George Gabedava is very interested in the international student work of the school and has raised many specific questions regarding different educational programs, scholarship settings, short-term exchanges, etc. Both sides have conducted detailed and thorough discussions. Staff members from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and the International Students’ Education Center attended the meeting.



Through the meeting, both sides have enhanced mutual understanding and reached many consensus. The two sides hope to take this opportunity to strengthen communication and cooperation in the future, open the door for more Georgian students to study in China and in Dalian Maritime University, open a new chapter in international student exchange and training, and inject new vitality into the "the Belt and Road" initiative.
