We are waiting for you at DMU. Are you ready? For some precautions in the new semester, we have the following reminders:一、Please finish registration for new semester on time
All international students please register for the new semester from February 20th (Monday) to 23rd (Thursday) (Students on campus register offline and students out of campus online). For procedures of online registration, please contact teachers of Student Affairs Office of International Students’ Education Center (ISEC).
No matter doing registration online or offline, those fail to finish registration procedures, or payment procedures on time can not register, and those didn’t finish registration can not attend class or other academic activities of the semester.
二、Please select courses, confirm class schedule and attend class on time
The courses of the new semester will begin on February 20 (Monday), and the students who have returned to school should take classes on time according to the schedule of Jiaowu system or graduate MIS system; For students who have not returned to school for the time being, please contact the teacher of the Academic Affairs Office of ISEC in advance for online teaching. The Academic Affairs Office will also notify schedule of courses especially for international students.
三、Please contact your supervisors and continue paper writing and research
All postgraduate students and year 4 undergraduate students please contact your supervisors once finishing registration and continue your thesis writing and related academic work under the guidance of your supervisors.
Welcome to attend the Briefing for the New Semester
In order to let students have a brief view of academic and administrative affairs of the new semester, and to answer questions that are most concerned by international students, we are planning to hold a Briefing for the New Semester recently and all DMU international students are welcome to attend. Please give us your ideas or opinions about following issues which will help to make the briefing more effective. Thanks in advance!
五、Please actively participate in the various elective courses and other activities this semester
This semester, ISEC will continue to organize a variety of elective courses and cultural and sports activities. Currently, the elective courses planned to be carried out are as follows. Chinese elective courses: Speaking Chinese, HSK 2 Tutoring, HSK 3 Tutoring, HSK 4 Tutoring, HSK 5 Tutoring, Learn Chinese Idioms, Academic Paper Writing and Literature Retrieval. Course teacher: Chinese language teachers of ISEC.
Characteristic optional courses: Elementary Russian Language, China-Europe International Transport Corridors, course teachers:Dr. NOVIKOVA KSENIIA, foreign teacher of Dalian Maritime University, PhD in Transportation Planning and Management and post doctor in Law.
