In October, Dalian has a crisp autumn sky and a clear blue sea. On the morning of the 29th, the opening day of DMU training vessel "Yukun" arrived as scheduled. The International Students’ Education Center organized more than 20 new international students to visit and study on the "Yukun" vessel.

Under the guidance of the on duty crew and intern students, the international students were divided into two groups and boarded the ship in an orderly manner. From the bridge to the lifeboat on board, from the deck to the engine room, the interns on board provided detailed and professional explanations. The international students listened attentively and carefully, while raising their own concerns. They had a thorough exchange with the interns, gaining a deeper understanding of the overall situation of "Yukun" and gaining a preliminary understanding of professional operations such as ship berthing and emergency response procedures.

For the first time entering the training vessel of DMU, the international students were not only filled with curiosity and novelty, but also amazed and proud of the advanced teaching and training facilities and technological development achievements of the University. Together with "Yukun" and Chinese students, the international students gained a deeper understanding of the sense of responsibility and mission of DMU people. We believe that this visit will sow the seeds of DMU spirit in the hearts of students.
