On the morning of June 25th, Ms. Phou Sivly, Deputy Chief of International Cooperation Office of the Techo Sen Institute of Public Works and Transport (TSIPWT), and Mr. Kong Daravuth, officer of International Cooperation Office of TSIPWT visited the International Students’ Education Center (ISEC) to discuss future exchange and cooperation matters with the center's director Prof. Liu Shaoman. Prof. Ma Mingfei, director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of Dalian Maritime University (DMU), and relevant staff attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Prof. Liu Shaoman briefly introduced the overall situation of international student education, including major settings, training system, as well as the cultivation of Cambodian students. Ms. Phou Sivly introduced the overall situation of TSIPWT, and expressed her willingness to establish cooperation with ISEC in student and teacher training. Both sides have had sufficient exchanges on specific matters such as professional training, categories, and management, and are confident in conducting substantive cooperation in the future.

The TSIPWT is directly managed by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Cambodia and mainly provides higher education and training in the fields of public works, transportation, and logistics. With the strong support of the transportation departments of both countries, the TSIPWT has maintained active exchanges with DMU since its establishment and signed a memorandum of understanding with DMU. This is the first visit of representatives from the institute. It is believed that through this meeting, mutual understanding and trust between the two sides will be further deepened, laying a solid foundation for specific cooperation in talent training in the future, and making more contributions to promoting the "the Belt and Road" initiative and promoting people to people communication in the field of transportation between China and Cambodia.
