Dear International Students：
To encourage international students to actively enhance study activity, give recognition and encouragement to students with excellent academic performance, good behavior or outstanding contributions, the school especially established Dalian Maritime University Excellent International Student Scholarship Award. The detailed awards and application requirements for Autumn semester 2023 are as follows:
一、Detailed Awards
（一）Excellent Undergraduate International Student Award:
Eligible Applicants：
undergraduate students of grade 2023 and 2022
Review Content：
Transcript of 2023-2024 academic year, daily performance etc.
Awards：
Chinese government scholarship students will be issued certificates.
Self-funded students will be issued certificates and payment coupons with details as follows:
1st Prize: A payment coupon worth of 8,000 RMB per person which covers part of tuition fee of 2025-2026 academic year.
2nd Prize: A payment coupon worth of 6,000 RMB per person which covers part of tuition fee of 2025-2026 academic year.
3rd Prize: A payment coupon worth of 4,000 RMB per person which covers part of tuition fee of 2025-2026 academic year.
（二）Excellent Postgraduate International Student Award:
Eligible Applicants:
postgraduate international students of grade 2023
Review Content：
Transcript of 2023-2024 academic year, daily performance etc.
Awards：
Chinese government scholarship students will be issued certificates.
Self-funded students will be issued certificates and payment coupons with details as follows:
1st Prize:A payment coupon worth of 10,000 RMB per person which covers part of tuition fee of 2025-2026 academic year.
2nd Prize: A payment coupon worth of 8,000 RMB per person which covers part of tuition fee of 2025-2026 academic year.
（三）Good Progress Award:
Eligible Applicants：
undergraduate international students of grade 2023 and 2022
Review Content：
Transcript of 2023-2024 academic year, daily performance etc.
Awards：
The Chinese Government Scholarship students will be awarded certificates; and self-funded students will be issued certificate and payment coupons worth of 1,000 RMB per person which covers part of tuition fee of 2025-2026 academic year.
（四）Excellent Chinese Language Program Students Award:
Eligible Applicants:
All Chinese language program students
Review Content：
Transcript of Autumn semester of 2024, daily performance etc.
Awards：
Chinese government scholarship students will be issued certificates.
Self-funded students will be issued certificates and payment coupons with details as follows:
1st Prize: A payment coupon which covers 2000 RMB for part of tuition fee of next semester/academic year, or covers 10,000 RMB for part of accommodation fee during 1st academic year of self-funded preparatory program or degree program study.
2nd Prize: A payment coupon which covers 1000 RMB for part of tuition fee of next semester/academic year, or covers 5,000 RMB for part of accommodation fee during 1st academic year of self-funded preparatory program or degree program study.
Note: The next study period should last for one semester at least.
（五）Chinese Language Program Students Full Attendance Award
Eligible Applicants：
All Chinese language program students
Review Content：
Class attendance of Autumn semester of 2024, daily performance etc.
Awards：
The Chinese Government Scholarship students will be awarded certificates; and self-funded students will be issued certificates and payment coupons worth of 1,000 RMB per person which covers part of next semester/year’s tuition fee or accommodation fee.
Note: The next study period should last for one semester at least. Full attendance refers to attending all courses of autumn semester of year 2024.
（六）Excellent Performance Award:
Eligible Applicants:
All international students of DMU
Awards:
Certificates and gifts
二、Basic Requirements for application：
（一）Comply with Chinese laws and regulations as well as various school rules and regulations.
（二）Respect teachers, unite classmates, and maintain good character.
（三）Respect customs and habits of people from different countries, and maintain friendship among peoples.
（四）Good academic performance and attendance.
（五）In the reference period, those who have participated in school level or higher-level activities or competitions and have shown outstanding performance would be given priorities.
三、Those who with one of following situations can not apply for the awards：
（一）Degree program students that can not graduate within required study duration.
（二） Those who didn’t finish required payment.
（三）Those who violated related rules or regulations of school or China.
（四）Those who failed in more than 1 course (including 1) in mid-term and final examinations during reference period .
（五）Those who are during study suspension period.
（六）Those who didn’t register for the semester on time.
四、Application Materials：

（二）Scanned copy of related documents, certificates or supporting materials
五、Application Procedures：
（一）Applicants please fill in the attached application form with signature, send the scanned copy of the application form as well as proof documents to: 1749036529@qq.com before 16:00 October 25th.
（二）The scholarship review committee will evaluate application materials and determine the result.
（三）The scholarship review committee shall determine the final list of winners and make it public; After the public announcement has no objections, the awards will ultimately be awarded.
六、Other Remarks:
（一）The above awards acquisition cannot be overlapped. The reduction of accommodation fees can only be applied to Yihua Dormitory 1.
（二） The “DMU Excellent International Student Scholarship Awards” are usually issued twice each year in spring and autumn semester respectively.
（三）The final interpretation right of this activity lies in International Students’ Education Center of DMU.
