In order to further enable international students to master fire safety knowledge, improve their skills in firefighting and evacuation, enhance the security awareness and protect the lives and property safety of teachers and students, on the afternoon of October 14th, the International Students’ Education Center(ISEC), in conjunction with the School Security Office, held a fire emergency evacuation drill and fire safety knowledge training at Yihua One Apartment. Nearly a hundred international students and faculty representatives participated in the activity.

This event includes three parts: emergency evacuation drill, fire safety knowledge lecture, and practical operation of fire extinguishers. During the emergency evacuation drill, students were guided by teachers to hold wet towels and cover their mouths and noses, quickly and orderly completing the evacuation of the entire teaching building and apartment building. Subsequently, Mr. Wan Yuqi from the School Security Office provided comments and summaries on the emergency evacuation process, and provided detailed explanations and training on fire prevention, fire management, and evacuation precautions. Finally, under the guidance of Teacher Wan, the students personally experienced the operation and usage of the fire extinguisher.

Through this activity, students have enhanced their awareness of fire safety prevention, mastered fire safety knowledge and the use of fire equipment, and further improved their emergency response and self-protection abilities. Fire safety is the top priority of campus safety and the guardian of stable and orderly campus life. The International Students’ Education Center will continuously strengthen its responsibility and mission, optimize safety education, enhance the safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of teachers and students, and always maintain a safe and stable campus environment and safeguard the safety of teachers and students.
