Dear international students
According to the relevant notices of the school and in accordance with the actual situation of international students, the 2025 winter vacation arrangements and precautions are hereby notified as follows:
一、Vacation time:
Students: Jan. 6th (MON) to Feb. 23rd (SUN), 2025
Staff members: Jan. 8th (WED) to Feb. 19th (WED), 2025
Courses of new semester will begin from February 24th (Monday), 2025.
二、Vacation precautions:
1、High power appliances, cooking, or smoking are not allowed in the dormitory rooms on campus. Please regularly check for fire hazards in the room, use electrical appliances correctly, and pay attention to water and electricity safety. Before leaving campus temporarily during holidays, it is necessary to conduct a dormitory safety inspection, close doors and windows, pull up door curtains, cut off water and electricity, and return to the dormitory before 22:30 on the same day. It is prohibited to stay out overnight or keep off campus personnel in dormitory overnight. Do not violate relevant laws and regulations on accommodation registration.
2、During the winter vacation, the Student Affairs Office of ISEC will conduct an irregular safety inspection once a week, focusing on the inspection of high-power electrical equipment in the dormitory room, permanent lights, staying overnight out of school or allowing off campus personnel to stay in dormitory overnight. Once found, it will affect the annual review results of scholarships in the next stage.
3、For international students applying to leave the school or Dalian, please file the application for leave with the Student Affairs Office (Room 408) of ISEC. If the itinerary changes, please send the itinerary to Ms Qi in advance for filing.
4、International students who live off campus or take leave to travel should take good care of themselves. If they change their accommodation address, please go to the local police station to change the accommodation registration form at the first time and report it to the Student Affairs Office of ISEC for filing.
5、Please pay attention to personal, property, and traffic safety during the holiday, and enhance awareness of theft prevention, fraud prevention, and other safety measures. Do not linger near dangerous waters, and do not enter frozen rivers, reservoirs etc.
6、Illegal employment or participation in any commercial or non-commercial employment activities are prohibited.
7、Please arrange your vacation schedule reasonably, cultivate good study and living habits, persist in exercising, improve immunity, and be ready for the new semester with a full state of mind.
During the winter vacation, the International Students’ Education Center(ISEC) will arrange staff on duty every working day. If international students on campus have any problems, please go to the office building of ISEC to seek help from the on duty teacher. Finally, we remind everyone to keep an eye on the various notices and updates released by the school and ISEC, and to contact teachers and classmates at any time if there are any problems.
