Do make sure that you keep at least 2 photocopies of your important documents. You should consider having your important documents, such as medical prescriptions and marriage certificates (if necessary), translated into Mandarin before leaving your country.
Below is the checklist of important documents that you must carry with you to Dalian:
• Valid passport and visa
• Letter of admission from Dalian Maritime University (original copy)
• Visa Application for Study in China form (also known as the JW201/JW202 form)
• All the missing documents upon application
• Cash or bank draft for your fees payment (tuition, accommodation fee, dormitory deposit, insurance, study materials fee)
• Certificate of highest diploma(original)or Enrollment Certificate of present study(original)
• 8 color photos in white color background (4.5cm length x 3.5cm width)
• Valid Foreigner Physical Examination Form, all laboratory tests reports (such as blood and urine tests reports), X-ray, and electrocardiogram if a residence permit for studying is to be applied after arrival
• Passport, visa, marriage certificate and birth certificates of your family members to be authenticated by Chinese embassy or consulates (if necessary)
